FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS

Your wedding day is one of the most significant moments in your lives, and it’s natural to have questions - so to help you, I’ve compiled answers to some of the most frequently asked questions below. If you have any additional inquiries or if something important isn’t covered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am more than happy to provide you with any further information to ensure your peace of mind.

The top question is always about pricing - but to be able to provide the most accurate quote I will need to know more about your big day and what you expect (when and where is your wedding, what's the timeline of your wedding day / how many hours do you need me for, if we need a second shooter, if you need a videographer, if you want to include an album, etc). That being said, I believe in transparency, so you can see my "standard" packages here: INVESTMENT

Now let's go to the other FAQs:

How do you describe your style and what should I expect on the day?

"My signature style seamlessly blends cinematic grandeur, timeless elegance, and editorial flair, while delicately capturing the candid essence of your unique love story". In simpler terms, your photos will look extraordinary, as if they came straight out of a wedding magazine, yet without appearing staged or overly posed. I would describe my natural approach as a balance of 50% editorial and 50% documentary. However, I am dedicated to aligning with your vision for your wedding, whether that means leaning more towards one style or the other - it's your call.

Throughout your bridal preparations, ceremony, and reception, I will capture all the details, moments, and emotions. I will be everywhere, up close and all around. Although this may sound overwhelming, I promise you that within an hour, you’ll barely notice my presence.

When it comes to group shots and couple's photos, consider me your hype girl! I want each of you to feel special, beautiful, powerful, and confident. With my background in editorial and studio photography, I have honed my skills in lighting, angles, composition, and posing. If you’re feeling bold, we can create photos that will make people exclaim, “Wow, goddammit, look at you!” If you prefer a more natural approach to portraits, I can guide you with action prompts instead, ensuring we still capture the most amazing shots.

Where are you based and how far do you travel?

I am based at Telford, Shropshire, also where my studio is located (in case you decide to also book a boudoir shoot!). However, I cover weddings throughout the UK and am available to travel anywhere in the world. All travel expenses will be included in your quotation, and I will handle all the arrangements myself, so you won’t have to worry about a thing.

Are you insured? And what happens if by any chance you can't attend our wedding?

I am fully insured, and I will be happy to provide your wedding planner with our insurance documents.

While I have never had to cancel a wedding, I understand that illness or accidents can happen. Fortunately, I have an extensive network of associate photographers both locally and internationally who I can quickly contact for coverage. I am confident that I can arrange a suitable replacement at very short notice, and rest assured, I will personally handle the editing of your photos to ensure you receive the most incredible images in my signature style.

How many photographers will be capturing my wedding day?

It depends a lot on what you have planned for your special day and your budget. For elopements or smaller weddings (up to 40 guests), I tend to shoot alone as I find this is more discrete and respectful of the vibe of a more intimate wedding. For weddings over 100 people I will always bring at least a second shooter. On larger weddings I can provide a team of photographers, videographers, content creators and assistants to suit the scale of your plans.

Which equipment do you use?

I use exclusively the best Canon cameras and prime lenses, ensuring the top quality of imagery (occasionally a zoom lenses for long distance environment shots). My lighting equipment is Godox (mainly V1 and AD400 pro), with numerous different diffusers and colour gels. I also have multiple backup camera, lenses and endless memory cards in case of emergencies - so nothing will ever stop me from documenting your day.

What if it rains on our wedding day? Our chosen venue/church is dark - will we still be alright?

Rain is not a problem for me. If it rains and you feel brave, I'm all up for us to adventure outside - and oh boy we can get some incredible shots. Otherwise, we can always find alternative (dry) spots to shoot in without the weather getting in the way.

Are we indoors and it's dark? You're in luck! I’ve been trained by the best and have years of experience with off-camera studio flash. I always carry a variety of lighting equipment and color gels, so get ready for the most epic photos.

When do we get our photos?

With all my packages, you will receive an online gallery featuring around 20 preview photos within 24-48 hours after your big day. This will allow you to share a glimpse of the magic with friends and family before you even head off on your honeymoon.

For the full collection of photos, please allow up to six weeks during my busiest period over the summer months, although I will always strive to deliver your photographs as quickly as possible. For a full day of shooting, you can expect to receive well over 500 images.
