There are some weddings that feel like they’ve been lifted straight from the pages of an editorial—and Beth & Samuel’s sun-soaked celebration at Gorey Castle in Jersey was exactly that. Set against the iconic backdrop of Mount Orgueil, with its centuries-old stone walls and sweeping views over the Channel Islands, their day was the perfect balance of history, style, and effortless summer romance. The July sun poured over every moment, from the bridal preparations at Beth’s grandfather’s home—a place filled with over fifty years of family memories—to the ceremony in the medieval Great Hall, the oldest part of the castle, dating back to the 13th century.

After their vows, guests gathered for champagne and canapés high atop the castle, confetti danced down the ancient stone steps, and the celebrations continued in a bespoke tipi that seamlessly echoed the grandeur of the surroundings.
